In the latest Ifop rolling poll in France, PS is down to 5% which is the threshold to get seats The Ecolos look like they might overtake FI. And thankfully they are not supporting any PS candidates; their decision to support Benoit Hamon for President of France in 2017 cost them dearly.

DLF (Dupont-Aignan) are also dropping below the threshold in most latest polls. I suspect PS will just sneak in, but if they don't it may just be 5 parties that make the threshold, which would mean they all get more seats.

Kukiz strike me as being rather unpleasant. Especially as a large part of their representatives are/were actually members of the rather dubious National Movement. Whose platform included such fun as forcibly conscripting citizens into a militia and then building watchtowers for them to serve in. I lived with a girl at university who's boyfriend had done Greek national service. His platoon's role was to sit on an island in the Aegean and take turns up a watchtower with binoculars pointed at Turkey, 24 hours a day. They rotated with another group weekly.

Another story which suggests that The Tatar Steppe was not a so much a pioneering work of magic realism but of realism and existentialism.

The FT's confab on the Euros.... www.ft.com/content/afb8b950-6a92-11e9-80c7-60ee53e6681dSo what constitutes a "leading candidate" if the parties that are going to be making the most ground are led by Deplorables?? And Deplorables are not invited or don't turn up to this gathering of the Great & Good.....

From there on clicks on these will display more details. The rest is just a bit of paperwork.

I was asking about your column on the left where you have 12 points, 10 points and so on. Is this a scoring system you have appended yourself?

Whereby i did pick the highest scoring party from a country rather than the value for the country to rank them.

12 points United Kingdom None Brexit Party 10 points Netherlands None Forum voor Democratie 8 points United Kingdom ENF UKIP 7 points Czech Republic MENL Svoboda a přímá demokracie 6 points Belgium None Parti populaire 5 points Estonia MENL Eesti Konservatiivne Rahvaerakond 4 points Poland EFDD Konfederacja KORWiN Braun Liroy Narodowcy 3 points Belgium MENL Vlaams Belang 2 points Finland EAPN Perussuomalaiset 1 point Ireland None Renua Its quite different from the other one - obviously I didn't keep the scores but I had a very high match with the AfD offshoot but only matched about 65% with them on this one. This one looks much more plausible because on the other one I had a higher match with people like Geoffrey van Orden than I did with any of the UKIP MEPs

Brexit Party and FvD on 86% each. For comparison, UKIP on just 78%.
EDIT: Nice to see, and also reassuring, that of all parties standing all over Europe, the Brexit Party is closest to my views.

This one looks much more plausible because on the other one I had a higher match with people like Geoffrey van Orden than I did with any of the UKIP MEPs It is tamer than the first to which i owe a new-found interest in Joelle Bergeron, Michalis Angelopoulos and Kai Kotzian, and it came closer to nailing me down in most cases but not quite, perhaps because of a tendency to choose a prudent answer if in doubt, which may explain some of the more mainstream parties i get. And these questions seem to be tailored rather for the moderately politically interested than the over-qualified. It also has the Conservatives at 61, Brexit Party at 50, and UKIP at 48, while the other one had the former rock bottom at around 15 and the Brexit Party and UKIP at more than twice their score.

That quiz really narrowed things down: Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the least disenfranchised voter in Walsall!
