We comprehensively outworked the Lib Dems and when the Tories started panicking late in the campaign I suspect they did too. Given that we were making some inroads into previous Lib Dem tactical support, the Tory vote must have been very soft (though picking a non-local won't have helped them). Not an ideal result from a Labour perspective, but in raw terms better than I'd have hoped and I suspect the percentage changes could be mangled into a bar chart if you were that way inclined. |
