Never been out leafleting and realised you need a wee, but no obvious local facility? I have occasionally used unofficial places in extremis. Hasn't everybody? In France people pee everywhere and nobody thinks anything of it.
The car parks at Belgian service stations seem to have been specifically constructed just so people can take a pee outdoors.

The Netherlands appears to have the most outdoor pissing. Including women. Seen it twice.

We were discussing the by-election.
The urinary habits of continental countries are unlikely to affect the outcome.
A Sentinel front-page describing the incident may ...

My impression is that some of the Labour vote would come to us if they thought that Nuttles couldn't win, but they are very worried about Nuttles winning and will vote reluctantly for Snell. The Conservatives have run a quiet and competent campaign with very good literature and have probably held off any UKIP depredations on their vote. Despite his many problems that have kept us amused, plenty of people will still vote for the big Bootle Meff. I have no idea what the final outcome will be. I am none too sure with either of these seats. Anything could happen. I was toying with putting 20 quid on Labour to hold both seats at 3/1. We may need advice from site bookie neilm on this but 3/1 seemed reasonable to me I got 4/1 on a double Labour hold last week, and I was pleased with that. Currently sitting at 7/2 at WH. I agree, I'm not sure on either, but those odds with a what seems a fair possibility seemed too good to miss.

Outdoor peeing truly is a continental European thing. In the UK it is essentially a male thing, though being less able to hold their own water, I have known women do it. In my younger days, I used to pass by the Yorkshire Conservative office between two of my favourite pubs when out on a pub crawl. The letterbox was just below waist height with a broken spring and was sheltered from public view by a porch. Just saying....

I always thought that doormat was a bit niffy No - we are talking about the late 1970s/early 1980s. The Yorkshire Office was on Great George Street in Leeds - between 'The Victoria' and 'The George'.

It isn't anywhere at the minute but I think it is going to be somewhere in Wakefield once they sort it out, but I could be wrong Too far for me to go on a pub crawl and, in any case, I don't do things like that these days!
