She's just daft. And nasty. Neither of which - of themselves - should be criminal offences. I'm still amused by her proposing that the Queen should be the head of government at the same time as proposing a range of policies that Her Majesty would almost certainly strongly disagree with.

When I reached Etruria this afternoon I thought by-election fever had finally arrived. As I turned off the main road there were four Labour posters up in the space of seven or eight houses - evidence of the Labour party machine getting into gear? No. * In the next mile and a half or so I encountered just two further posters. Both Lib Dem. And in the rest of the afternoon, one poster (Labour) #. So, score for today: Labour 5 Lib Dem 2 Conservative 0 UKIP 0 * To be fair, it was evidence of Labour getting posters up in a key gateway location. # This excludes the posters on a union office. Etruria? What's you visiting the horn of Africa got to do with the Stoke on Trent by election? Time travel in central Italy methinks. You didn't meet carlton43 by chance?

Nuttall's latest leaflet wants "Stoke jobs for Stoke workers". Mrs TheGriff spent over 20 years working in Stoke-on-Trent. Just as well she's retired or Dr Nuttall would be sacking her! Who's Dr. Nuttall?

The 'hard right's answer to Pat Arrowsmith
The coverage she got indirectly meant she avoided finishing last in Cardiff South East in 1979 (she beat the Communist candidate, Richard Spencer, as she got 132 votes to his 112).

She isn't "hard right" - she's a nutcase. Logically, there is a difference.

Not sure if this has already been posted (didnt fancy slogging through 53 pages to check) but here is a recording of a hustings debate between ALL the candidates (tbf its comparatively tame stuff but may be of interest to hustings fanatics!)

A major point of the collapse of communism timeline, methinks. Can't imagine he ever lived that down.

Etruria? What's you visiting the horn of Africa got to do with the Stoke on Trent by election? You do know that Dresden is in S-o-T South? Weird boundaries. I suspect the AfD will be looking to gain that ward from the CDU at the next City Council elections! I'm surprised she has a mobile phone or computer. Would've expected leaflets produced on a typewriter. Surely her using an original Gutenburg press would've been more likely? Nah, the Gutenberg press is foreign, isn't it?

Keep an eye out for voter fraud too, because you get this often in places like Oldham and Tower Hamlets.

Labour only do as well as they do because of BME voters and the liberal elite.

It's examples like this that show how silly the 'spiritual intimidation' law is and why it needs to be abolished. A vague statement that people have to answer in judgment after death for their choices in life is pretty standard stuff and it's a really big stretch to say it's saying non-Labour muslim voters will be damned to burn in hellfire for eternity. Basically all this is, is a fairly standard appeal to stick to traditional (perceived) voting patterns or to engage in tactical voting. Standard election stuff.

Doing It by text is silly when your opponent is saying that Labour don't care about the white working class in favour of a coalition of the fringes.
