Ferndown is quite an interesting one, since the same division was contested just three months ago. But having fought a recent campaign and campaigning this time on similar issues should allow our vote share to stay stable. This time, the UKIP candidate is more local and the Tory candidate less well known in the area which might even see us score a little higher.

I like the maps, but next time could you take them one level of zoom further out? It makes it slightly easier to understand where the wards are when you don't know the local geography well. The Myton & Heathcote one works best because you've done that.

I think most Muslims are quite happy with other people being Christians, as indicated by the large number in Church schools.
The issue is much more about conversion of people from Islam to Christianity

In liverpool, there are a large number of church schools and single sex schools (or a combination of both). The single sex girls' schools which have a christian ethos get a large number of applications from muslims.

We have only 1 all-girls school here, and it is a Catholic school, with a high number of Muslim, Sikh & Hindu girls attending it.

Keith Edkins site is worth checking though it doesn't seem to be kept up to dats as well as it used to be,
You can check for by-elections by LA for each year
eg www.gwydir.demon.co.uk/byelections/byind16.htm

One other quite useful thing that Maxque used to do with London by-elections (though it isn't compulsory of course) was to include figures from the latest GLA elections

I agree with Pete. If the figures for the 2016 elections for London (list and constituency as well as Mayor) were put up, I'd find it really helpful.
This is not in any way a criticism, as I am in no position to criticise anything if I am not able/willing to put these up myself!

If Doktorb feels he cannot do this, if anyone else could I would be equally grateful to them.
