Pete Whitehead Robert WallerI have been thinking about ensuring that I can provide a service without these threads becoming an unpaid full time job so if any user is able to offer results or extra bits and bobs it would be very much appreciated! I'll see how it goes over the next few months of tweaking and improvements. Thanks for the warm welcome folks, btw There's a !ot of work involved but as I say , I'll try what I can to keep up the good work. Thanks again Dok - how would you prefer people to add to it? PM or a comment in the thread. I assume you wouldn't want anyone to attempt to edit the actual post

I think the LDs might have fancied a crack at the Chichester ward if it wasn't for Richmond...

In liverpool, there are a large number of church schools and single sex schools (or a combination of both). The single sex girls' schools which have a christian ethos get a large number of applications from muslims. We have only 1 all-girls school here, and it is a Catholic school, with a high number of Muslim, Sikh & Hindu girls attending it. Do they like it primarily because it's girls only or because it's Christian?

Southbourne, Chichester LD 646 (57.7%; + 15.8) Con 289 (25.8%; -32.3) UKIP 132 (11.8%) Lab 53 (4.7%) That is a bad result for the Conservatives and wrecks my prediction chances tonight. Over half their vote lost and no Independent to account for that. Serious.

Chichester was 51% Leave %49 Remain, so pretty typical of the UK. No idea how Southbourne compares to the rest though....

The new councillor polled 60% more votes than his two running mates in 2015 (see top of thread) and there is t5hus likely to be a significant personal vote in tonight's figures.
