It is in Twickenham. Which means all the ballot boxes have to cross the river. Don't know why.
Just seen a post which crossed with this. The other side of the river is not in the constituency but in the Twickenham one, so how they voted there doesn't matter.

Looks like that's in Twickenham according to Google Maps. The college is located in the more Liberal Democrat inclined St Margarets and North Twickenham ward, though it is also situated near the Twickenham Riverside and South Twickenham wards. In the event of a dead heat you would expect the early ballots to be around average/slightly more favourable towards the Liberal Democrats I believe. If the early ballots are in fact postal votes that would be disastrous news for Zac Goldsmith. That ward is not in the Richmond Park constituency, it's in the Twickenham constituency.

OK, here's the comparison - it's across Richmond upon Thames borough, because that's the stats which are available.
Conservative share of polling station vote: 52.3% Conservative share of the postal vote: 59.6%

Well, it looked like they had a big hall with 10+ counting stations.... Unlikely they will split the PVs up across more than one counting station I would have thought? In which case there may be PVs and the earliest boxes being counted.
But it is a long time since I went to a parliamentary election count...

When the by-election was called I expected a Labour deposit hold to be unlikely. Now it looks like a dead cert that it will be a lost deposit if that kind of talk is leaking out. I agree. I don't think we should have stood anyway - a vanity by-election where we didn't stand a chance and where Goldsmith was behaving like the prima donna he is

Apparently Sky are reporting a low postal turnout. Remarkable, a UK news broadcaster is possibly giving out some useful information before the declaration, as opposed to the usual "I AM IN THE LEISURE CENTRE AND CAN SEE MANY ROSETTES, TOO EARLY TO SAY"

Whatever happens, we shouldn't read too much in terms of the national situation from the result of this highly unusual by-election. This is all about Goldsmith, who happens to represent one of the most Remain-leaning parts of the country. It will be interesting to compare all this with Sleaford next week.

I still want him to win to bolster the majority and to upset all the rest of you. Bloody hell Carlton, you've had everything else this year, give us a bit of somethimg to celebrate this year. I won't appeal to christmas, but for samhain! Nice touch Jim with Samhain. I take these matters task by task as with the rest of that great game called 'Life'. But, yes, it has been a rather good year all round.

I've temporarily moved the by-elections category to the top of the home page.

I'm sure they know this, but without knowing which boxes this is irrelevant.

Twickenham had the highest turnout in England in 2015 and I don't think Richmond Park was far behind although I can't find a list at the moment.

Whatever happens, we shouldn't read too much in terms of the national situation . On the contrary. Go home and prepare for government! Oh bugger. We've tried that already.... Ok, just a bit of fun it is after all

Coombe is where the rich of Kingston live. Where do the poor of Kingston live? In the servants' quarters of Coombe, maybe?

If, and it must be a big if given the quality and quantity of information so far, the LDs are indeed ahead in the Kingston section - they will win.

Think David meant Norbiton.
Norbury is in Croydon.
