Welcome. Tell us about yourself. Where do you come from? Do you support any political party?

Thanks both I'm from the sleepy seaside town of Skegness, Lincolnshire. My political affiliation is...pending I suppose. I have voted different ways at different elections. Voted Conservative at the local elections this year but in the past have been a member of Labour (in my younger years) and the Greens. Make of that what you will Not currently affiliated but determined to pick a side before I turn 35!

I'm guessing that you're the same iainbhx who wrote "Were you still up for Balls?" on alternatehistory.com?

Liked that one; also the 'Keeping the British Liberal Party Flag flying' thread, although that has meandered off into trivia. I've got my own shortlived ATL on there, if you can find it...

Lancashire(still in the county, not a met borough)
Conservative/UKIP voter. Not a party member. Would vote Conservative in a marginal seat(but I'm not in one).
Particularly interested in elections.

Might as well join in on this.
Was an active member of the previous site under this username (which is based on a Bob Monkhouse voiced cartoon character). Didn't know about the new site for about six months and then realised I wasn't missing it! Doubt I'll post as much as on the old site.
Only ever voted Liberal Democrat (the first time I voted was under the change of name from the SLDs).
Former Lib Dem councillor in Newcastle upon Tyne until my electorate realised they were holding me back and voting accordingly. Still pretty active although less so than when I was a councillor (other interests rather than national/local reasons).
Partly looking at my twitter account (under my real name) my interests include USA politics, board games, art (classical and modern), humanism, horse racing and real ale.

Hello all. I've been lurking on this site for some time and I have now finally decided to join. I'll be 27 in 5 weeks time and I have lived in Battersea, SW London my whole life. Some of you may recognise my user name from UK Polling Report where I have been a regular poster for the past couple of years. I hope to become a regular poster here from now on.
I have been a Labour supporter since I've been old enough to vote. I have been a party member for almost 3 years. I would also like to have my affiliation displayed on this forum.
Away from politics, my interests include film, art, music, history, reading and tennis.
