Hello All - first Labour councillor for many decades on New Forest District Council here. Will set my biog to Labour just as soon as I've worked out how to do it. I think there's at least a couple of people here I recognise... What’s it like being in a Labour group of 1 Cllr? Not much factionalism at least Whipping myself is quite interesting! Technically you can't be a group unless you have 2 or more councillors, so I am "non-aligned Labour and Co-operative". Which given that the Independents have formed a group of 4 means that I can truthfully say that I'm the only truly independent cllr on the council  |

Welcome. I have recently explained to a friend how New Forest Labour were only 279 votes away from a 5-strong group. Congratulations.

Hi Everyone, I recently started following this board in order to find some software to display UK parliamentary election data. I could not find what I was looking for here ( or anywhere else ) so I decided to throw something together myself. Despite the paucity of data I have managed to produce something vaguely usable and so I though I maybe it would also be of interest to a few of you here. The program, along with its data, can be found here :-

I'm not suggesting that GraRLS is anything other than a welcome addition to the Board, but it is probably a good idea not to click on a link from what is currently an unknown source.

googling takes you to what appears a genuine webpage, but the software on offer requires a download of a zip file and running an exe file. Anyone brave enough to give it a go?

Could someone please explain to me the point of the post by doktorb. For a start he did a search for “Pebbles” ( plural ) not “Pebble” ( singular ). Secondly, the weird message he reported was for “grails” - with an 'I' not “grarls” with an 'R'. Thirdly, any error message, even if it had applied to my site, about upload size limits has no bearing what-so-ever on whether the software is malicious or not. I would ask him myself, but it is clear he cannot read. It is also clear that “Catholicleft” and “nodealbrexiteer” are just as unobservant, given that they endorsed his post. If this is typical of the intellectual level, not to mention the shear obnoxiousness, of the members of this board, then I want nothing further to do with it.
