Your leadership woes seems to hurt your results, nothing good for you this week so far. You lost almost 80% of your vote in Beverley, you lost a seat in Strood and Labour beated you in 2nd, a sub 10 result in Neath.

When I typed that, no, but we knew Lab beated UKIP for 3nd. We have complete results now, 41 more votes for Labour over UKIP.

At least out 'sub 10 result' in Neath was sub 10% - not sub 10 votes as the Tories got. Surely 4 votes has got to be some kind of record for a major party

This is however the fourth sub-10 vote result in a south Welsh by-election this year: - The Pirate Party polled 4 votes in Rhoose (Vale of Glamorgan) in June. - The Conservatives had 7 votes in Moriah (Caerphilly) in March. - The Greens also had 7 votes in Gilfach (Caerphilly) two weeks ago. EDIT: I've gone through the list of Welsh local by-elections this decade and can only find two other single digit results in that period: one of 9 votes for the Tories (Torfaen, Snatchwood) and one of 7 votes for the Lib Dems (Newport, Bettws).

Speaking of Welsh by-elections, when the hell is Abergele Pensarn going to declare?! I'm worried that if it doesn't come soon I might have to do something else such as reading a book, or, heaven forbid, something productive...
