Isn't that the role of the Silly Party? ;-) Oh, and that trisyllabic pronunciation of Islwyn is really grating... The answer to the 'problem' of English people mispronouncing the names of Welsh constituencies is to not give them silly unpronounceable names in the first place Or people could take a little time out to learn a little bit about a language that is just as native to the British Isles as English is. If people don't want to educate themselves, fine, but I don't see why we should bend over backwards for them.

Postponed is better than cancelled. Suggests it'll still happen at some point post-election.
Hoping 97 is replayed though, as, whilst Andy JS's YouTube copy has been invaluable over the years, the sound quality isn't great.

I fail to see why it should be cancelled. Not that I have any intention of watching it.
By the time this year's general election is over, it will be time to show 1987 as well.

Especially on one section, where you can't hear anything, not even the song playing in the background...

^ It's been a while, I'm assuming someone called copyright on the audio in one section. D:ream?
Someone else put up a copy of the 97 election on YouTube, but it appears to be an edited stitch together of Andy's videos. Especially notable as at one point, they appear to have added the same video twice and we jump back 10 minutes!

2 things to watch on September 4th.
I'll be appearing on University Challenge representing Trinity College, Oxford on BBC2 at 8pm.
Then this at 10pm.
Evening sorted!

SPOILER ALERT
By 8pm in the election coverage I think you will probably already have worked out who is going to win.

I have booked the day off. I'm in Plymouth for a catch up the preceeding weekend so I won't be going anywhere that is further than sofa to kitchen. This is the ideal hangover cure.

You jest, but after what happened in 1992 quite a few Labour people didn't fully relax until the Edgbaston result came in around midnight!
