I'd like to know that too. Couldn't find them anywhere. In terms of the National Archives they will be somewhere in AX 2, though that doesn't seem to include the Metropolitan Counties.
It's clear from "New Districts for Old" and also by comparing electorates in the 1973 local election that the county electoral divisions were mostly agglomerations of wards, but not always.

Can anyone point me to the Ordnance Survey maps which show ward/county electoral division boundaries as they existed at the 1973 local elections? (i.e. immediately after local government reorganisation) I assume I will be able to find them at the National Archives but are they available online anywhere? Vision of Britain is likely to have them. I always find the website fiddly to navigate, but there are loads of boundary maps on there. There's also National Library of Scotland, particularly as the 1972 maps are now out of copyright.

It may also be worth looking at the Records of the Boundaries Branch of the OS (https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/browse/r/h/C1063) OS 53 and OS 76 possibly? I will look when I next visit.

Does anyone know if there are ward maps of the new North Yorkshire and 2x Cumbria authorities in a printable format online any where? I Don’t think they are on LGBCE.

What did John Spence MP (1920-1986) former MP for Ryedale look like? I can't find any photos of him from googling.

With all those marks on his face, no wonder there aren't many photos of him about.

Where can you find the electorate figures for Scottish and Welsh polling districts? The English ones are available through the Boundary Commission but I can't find the other two, so can't use accurate figures for ward splits etc in boundary plans.

Is Beki Sellick, Liberal Democrat candidate for Peterborough in the 2019 by-election and the 2019 general election, any relation to five-time Liberal candidate John Sellick?

Does anyone know if England & Wales will eventually follow the Scottish model of electronic vote counting at elections?
It's interesting to see voting patterns within wards but even better still, within Polling districts in those wards.
I could be wrong but I think it's only currently used for local elections?

The GLA elections next May will be going back to a paper count, and we will no longer get ward breakdowns.

The GLA elections next May will be going back to a paper count, and we will no longer get ward breakdowns. Why? The electronic counts of GLA elections were perfectly sound.

The GLA elections next May will be going back to a paper count, and we will no longer get ward breakdowns. Why? The electronic counts of GLA elections were perfectly sound. Because the optical vote reading was needed for the second preference calculation on the Mayoral vote, and the government has forcibly removed that and made it a first past the post election.
