Well if you get 57% you can't be beaten...
If you get 80% there's something unusual.
If you call someone a "lying little troll" you should be kicked off this site!

Your kindness and benevolence is duly noted and recorded. All of a piece with my general view of you and I don't think I am totally alone.

There were two by-elections tomorrow for 4 Conservative seats on Hellesdon Parish Council in Broadland, Norfolk - but there was a lot of concern locally that the by-elections were still going ahead. Broadland council has announced this evening that the by-elections will not take place tomorrow. "This decision was made possible with a mandate from the Government, which we received on Wednesday evening". www.broadland.gov.uk/news/article/314/hellesdon_by-elections_postponed

There is no legal justification for this until the emergency legislation has passed. Postponements at this point are unlawful and open to challenge by candidates.

If a candidate was to go all legalistic and challenge common sense, I would be interested to see how they got on in the consequent poll.
