There will be a by-election for Chorleywood South ward on Chorleywood PC on 14 December (if contested). The vacancy has arisen following the resignation of Lib Dem Ash Bhardwaj.
The last by-election in this ward was held on 19 January this year, and resulted in an astonishingly close (if one is familiar with Chorleywood!) two-horse race: Con 333, Lab 311 on a 17.8% turnout.

Indeed, the idea that Labour could be anywhere near winning an election in Chorleywood is a pretty amazing one. Chorley it sure ain't.

There's quite an extensive council estate (and other relatively modest housing) in Chorleywood Bottom

Malvern Hills Trust
There is an election today (1 November) for the 11 trustees of the Malvern Hills Trust, which covers an area lying across the boundary between Worcestershire (Malvern Hills) and Herefordshire.
The 6 wards of Malvern Parish [still using the 2003 boundaries] and the parishes of Guarlford and Malvern Wells (all in Malvern Hills) return 1 member each, with the Herefordshire parishes of Colwall and Mathon returning 2 and 1 members respectively.
12 candidates were nominated (all of them No Description), with two candidates in Chase ward and Malvern Wells parish, necessitating an election today. The remaining 8 candidates have been returned unopposed, with no candidate nominated in Priory ward.
