Dublin West almost at the conclusion of the final count - very possible Labour leader Joan Burton will lose her seat.

Last seat doesn't need a quota. Irrelevant to my point. How is it irrelevant? You were responding to DB's post about candidate order after transfers.

Currently an Independent Alliance candidate in sixth place is being redistributed with FF, AAA-PBP, Lab and Sinn Fein in that order chasing three seats. Burton's nearly 600 votes ahead of Sinn Fein but it may not be enough.

Burton scrapes home by less than a 1000. But that's much bigger than the time Dick Spring scraped it home in single figures.
Burton is also so far the only Labour TD elected.

That Independent Alliance candidate is an ex-member of FF although note that doesn't necessarily indicate where his transfers will go, but I'd be surprised if Burton was caught.

They broke in the order AAA-PBP, Lab, FF and Sinn Fein.
The Kerry first count has been pushed back to 23:00. Is it twinned with Tower Hamlets?

2011 - Starta Kenny 2016 - Enda Kenny There may be a benefit to FG if it goes into opposition and clears out some old faces. Kenny is Father of the Dail with 40 years service. Flanagan and Noonan have been there since 1982. Also I thought to leave this here

How nice to see old Biffo back. I cannot tell a lie. Waterford Whispers done it. The picture must be years old but it was apposite. Anyone know when the counts clock off? Taking the Irish Times it is 6 constituencies done, 49 TDs elected, 18 FF, 12 FG, 6 SF, 5 Ind, 3 SD, 4 others. I still can't see an FF/FG coalition from this or anything but another election this year.

The problem in Kerry - they got the Healy-Raes mixed up in the piles.

The problem in Kerry - they got the Healy-Raes mixed up in the piles. Fitting. They're both as welcome as haemorrhoids!

Dublin Bay North looks like finally getting a first count soon. This will leave Kerry behind everyone else.

How is it irrelevant? You were responding to DB's post about candidate order after transfers. The transfers from FG's weaker candidate will take FG's stronger candidate comfortably past Labour but not particularly close to quota. Following this, FG-->Lab transfers are going to be so small as to not have a significant effect on the final outcome. That was my point...

Twitter displayed out of sequence. I thought we were finally going to get some figures.
Apparently the problem is unstamped ballot papers.
