Do we think there may be a rather big gender difference in those who are of elderly age?
My grandparents are in their 80s. My Grandfather's a committed europhobe where as my grandmother is voting remain because she insists it benefits women's rights.
I'm not arguing my family are representative, just wondering whether that was the case.

My dad's 75.
As far as he's concerned we voted (and he did in '75) In once and that should be enough.
He's enthusiastically voting Remain again as is my mum (who's 65).
Anecdotally, I haven't met any 'real' people who actually voted In 41 years ago who are voting Leave this time. It seem the ones who are going on about us being 'hoodwinked' weren't hoodwinked because they voted Out then anyway!

Not totally sure but I think both my parents voted Yes in 1975 and are both intending to vote Remain this time.

Sadly my father is no longer with us, but both he and my mother voted yes in 75 and my now 87 year old mother is certainly voting Remain this time. About other pensioners and retirees I have no news.

Technically, no one voted to be in the EU, but I'm just a pedant.

Could polling companies (who are ORB anyway?) and/or the media please not edit out undecided voters when asking about a referendum?

This poll puts "leave" clearly ahead in London - anybody else find that a bit whiffy?
(also just 60% "remain" in Scotland - lower than almost any other recent poll)

I live in a very rural area and our high school is full and our surgery is not taking any new patients. Few immigrants here so maybe it is that previous governments haven't put money into our infrastructure? Just a thought it may not be about immigration after all, just bad UK government.

There's an area in Suffolk which hasn't experienced a lot of immigration from eastern Europe?

How are the leave campaign going to staff the new hospital they are going to build each week? There's a lot of very good unemployed nurses in Spain. They could come ov ..... Oh, hang on.

There's an area in Suffolk which hasn't experienced a lot of immigration from eastern Europe? Plenty I would think. It obviously depends how you define "a lot". Compared to many other places in England Suffolk probably hasn't experienced a great deal, but I was thinking of a longer-term comparison to previous decades in Suffolk.
