I was talking to one of the Eggheads a couple of weeks ago; he told me that during breaks in Eggheads filming Jeremy Vine had his iPad out trying to memorise the list of which MP is in which constituency. Apparently he was up to "M".

So long as we don't have to suffer a Graham Norton 'sotto voce' commentary through it all! Oh, I don't know, that could be fun.

I'm sure I remember other students in my halls of residence watching Channel 4's election coverage in 1997.

I'm sure I remember other students in my halls of residence watching Channel 4's election coverage in 1997. Maybe someone with access to TV archives can clear it up. I'm surprised I didn't know about it if they did do one then. I arranged recordings of BBC, ITV and Sky to be made in 1997 thinking that was the lot. Still got them all on VHS. Incidentally Sky's coverage featured Adam Boulton and Michael Thrasher so no change from 1997 to 2015 assuming those two are on Sky again this time.

Having just seen on YouTube the Party Political Broadcasts of the FUKP (searched "Al Murray Political Broadcast") I think I shall watch this and switch to the results services during the commercial breaks.

Is the Sky Arts one just Sky News or is it from a an arts perspective (whatever that might be)? Sky News have placed some thirty or so cameras in their election studio and those will be streaming live on the Sky News website with edited cameras appearing on Sky Arts

Additional Information: BBC Parliament will be simulcasting BBC Scotland from 2155 BST to 0900 BST, then they simulcast BBC One network until 1100 BST. From that moment on they switch to archive showing BBC Wales from 1100 BST to 1800 BST, then from 1830 BST to 0130 BST BBC Northern Ireland and then on Saturday they replay the BBC network coverage from 0955 BST onwards.

It used to be the case that on the final day of the campaign the main news programmes would have an extended show for 40 or 45 minutes instead of the usual 30. I guess the reason they don't do so these days is because of the 24 hour news channels.

They used to extend the BBC Nine'o'clock News to an hour during the whole of an election campaign.

There's a repeat of the remaining three hours of the BBC's coverage of the 1955 election on Tuesday evening. BBC Parliament 8 pm - 11 pm.

O/T, but I do appreciate you using Dropbox, makes it very easy to save items if I'm using my phone. I wish more people made use of it.
