There is to be a byelection on Sept 13th Shropshire UA Church Stretton and Craven Arms ward , Conservative seat . Reason for byelection not known .

East Dunbartonshire, Maidstone and Runnymede have now been corrected. Thanks
However the Bridgend Council website spells the ward Bettws, ie with 2"t"s. If it is good enough for the Council, it is good enough for me.

For the Bridgend ward, Bettws is the English spelling and Betws the Welsh spelling.
Just to confuse the issue, there is a ward in Newport called Bettws in English and Betws in Welsh, and another ward in Carmarthenshire called Betws in both languages.
