PASOK on 4.3% It would look like they are going the way of the Socialist party in Italy.

God help Greece if SYRIZA ever get in charge. Surely a SYRIZA / KKE coalition has to be possible (I do realise that these are Europolls - but still)

PASOK on 4.3% I'm sure they can go lower, there aren't that many Cretan pensioners.

I was never able to find out much out the Greek Greens while in Brussels... seem to have dropped off of the map after almost getting into Parliament before the second election.

Well, PASOK is a bit like the old like National Labour. Its roots are left-wing, but it's today not distingishable from the main right-wing party. It should fold in ND in a few years, I suppose.

Though the strange part is that its roots aren't left wing: it was initially the personalist vehicle of the Papandreou family, who were always liberals. That's where the Cretan vote comes from.

That is of course one of the reasons why it has collapsed so comprehensively. I doesn't have any roots of real significance.

The figures suggest that left wing voters have simply shifted to Syriza in any case

Does this leave the Walloon PS as Europe's most venal, not-entirely-left-wing, corruption-tainted, nominally socialist party?
