In a strange and hamfisted move, the AfD have provoked the fury of Marine Le Pen (and others) by suggesting that France hand Mayotte to the Comoros. They also hadn't checked where she was at the time. She was ...in Mayotte. Low IQ party. German politics are cursed. They're lucky that Die Linke exist to stop them being the most stupid party.

Not so much because of the leaks and speculations of previous weeks. However, they are always useful to check who is in which party at the moment. Mastella's wife is in United States of Europe Alessandra Mussolini is in Forza Italia. Sgarbi is in Brothers of Italy. ... Among the MEPs elected in 2019 Vincenzo Sofo (Monsieur Marion Marechal) elected in 2019 for Lega, now standing for Fratelli d'Italia Lucia Vuolo elected in 2019 for Lega, now standing for Forza Italia Stefania Zambelli elected in 2019 for Lega, now standing for Forza Italia Matteo Gazzini elected in 2019 for Lega, now standing for Forza Italia Giuseppe Milazzo elected in 2019 for Forza Italia, now standing for Fratelli d'Italia Aldo Patriciello elected in 2019 for Forza Italia, now standing for Lega Isabella Adinolfi elected in 2019 for 5 Stars, now standing for Forza Italia Daniela Rondinelli elected in 2019 for 5 Stars, now standing for PD Eleonora Evi elected in 2019 for 5 Stars, now standing for PD Chiara Maria Gemma elected in 2019 for 5 Stars, now standing for Fratelli d'Italia Giuseppe Ferrandino elected in 2019 for PD, now standing for Azione Massimiliano Smeriglio elected in 2019 for PD, now standing for Green/Left Caterina Chinnici elected in 2019 for PD, now standing for Forza Italia And obviously Carlo Calenda elected in 2019 for PD, now standing for Azione I may have missed someone..... Some of them were in some other parties in between their 2019 party and their current party....but I would need a graph to recap all that.

The Socialist list under Raphael Glucksmann seems to be doing well in French polling - it would be interesting to know what relique thinks of the story.

The Socialist list under Raphael Glucksmann seems to be doing well in French polling - it would be interesting to know what relique thinks of the story. Glucksmann is a media favourite. He is the caricature of the well-meaning euro-loving liberalist. He supported Sarkozy in 07 against Royal (which no one in the media now is saying as it wouldn't be a good feature) with his father. He's the companion of one of the most influential journaliste, and he's the son of his may 68 "philosopher" americanised neo-con hawk of a father who supported War in Iraq in 05. He's the image of French elites' hatred of French values and love for anglo-saxon's. The only good thing about him would be that he beats the macronist list, and may cause the woke-greens to go below 5%, which would be the first election in 30 years without greens MEP. That may be why he's going up: people on the left don't understand much of the differences between the current left-wing groups, and like rallying to the one which the polls say are closer to win. So a media darling would get the better dynamics to show off to those kind of voters.

So a media darling would get the better dynamics to show off to those kind of voters. Is there a list that someone on the Republican Left like yourself feels comfortable voting for? The different republican left groupings are divided. There are quite a few with the communists (including incumbent MEP Emmanuel Maurel who will have the feature of appearing on three different lists in three consecutive european elections). There might be some left with Mélenchon. There are some who deserted to Macron and others with PRG and Cazeneuve (list Lacroix). Finally, there's an "ideologically pure" list with former melenchonist Kuzmanovic. I have close comrades in both Kuzmanovic and communist lists. I have former comrades in Cazeneuve's. And maybe in macronist but the entire list was not publicised. I personnally never expressed a vote in the european elections as I see them part of an undemocratic sham of a parliament completely ridden with corporate, ngo and foreign governments' lobbying which is only useful to apparatchiks unable to be elected in real elections. I could have been tempted to give a vote to the communists but I hate list-hopping Maurel and wish him the worst as his abysmal political strategy completely imploded my political party for his own personal gain of getting reelected with Mélenchon last time. I will probably go to the voting booth because I recently moved and wish to see exactly where it is, but I will give an empty envelop.

Austria's TheGreens nominated for leading their EP-list a young climateActivist, who was campaigning on "Europe needs heart": But now DerStandard - Austria's Guardian - revealed, that she has intrigued and manipulated others (all inside the climaReligion-bubble) by accusing them incorrectly of rape, sexual misConDuct, violence aso.

Today I spotted a set of Volt Deutschland placards. They're all in English. Very curious and rather likely to annoy Germans.
Somebody from the commies in the DKP has been busy, there are placards everywhere.

Not surprising that UnHerd has a relatively positive view of WC Bardella, but not of Elitist Zammour.

My postal vote is currently winging its way towards the Swedish electoral authority. I didn't even request a postal vote, but the papers arrived automatically as I didn't register in time to vote for Spanish candidates.
I voted for the Social Democrats, my first time voting for that party or for any unambiguously left-wing party. I appear to be going soft as I age.

Irish Times constituency polling. (4.4% error) I’m surprised SF isn’t doing better.

German poll for the Euros this weekend.
CDU and CSU 31 per cent AfD, Green 15 SPD 14 BSW 5 FDP 4 Linke 3 Others 13
Annoyingly, ZDF the broadcaster who commissioned the poll, have not said what figures the other parties have. Except to say that none are over 3 per cent. Which seems daft given they have given Die Linke's score of 3 per cent.
Of note is the BSW and Linke score. That's a significantly higher combined far-left figure than the 5.5 per cent achieved at the last Euros.

Irish Times constituency polling. (4.4% error) The ultra tankie vote seems very low, presumably Daly and Wallace are very unlikely to be elected if polling anything like that?

I've seen an ad elsewhere urging me to vote for an ALDE party. The advert explicitly says not Renew but ALDE. Previous ones I've seen refer to Renew.
What exactly is the difference or connection? Could one of our yellow team shed any light?
