Andrej Babiš's ANO (Czech Republic) leaves Renew. Jumped before they were going to be pushed out?

Andrej Babis, one of the most electorally successful liberal figures in recent European history as we know, has removed his party from Renew.

Amusingly, Valerie Hayer complained that ANO had been moving further from liberalism - when was it ever near?

I’ll try to be mindful of your (and what I assume to be the private view of others here) comment, and use less slang/casual language.

Our language and good usage is so important to me that I can react with less respect for others than you have here shown to me. I have my points but you are the nicer person.

Using ‘Going to’ instead of ‘gonna’ is easy, and reacting rudely or angrily would have not solved anything.

In a move that would be very entertaining, Meloni is apparently trying to prevent Costa being nominated and is trying to get Mette Frederiksen the job instead.

Volt MEPs are going into the Green group.

Volt MEPs are going into the Green group. Apparently they didn't want to sit with (checks notes) half the Renew faction. Which probably says more about the Volt, despite the reputation of some of the Renew parties. On that note, long-standing standard-bearers of European liberalism Fianna Fail have said they won't vote for VdL.
