Georgie Ramsay, Labour candidate in Whitfield ward Dover has joined UKIP. It is a two member ward where UKIP only has one candidate listed.

Georgie Ramsay, Labour candidate in Whitfield ward Dover has joined UKIP. It is a two member ward where UKIP only has one candidate listed. If she wins as the Labour candidate, surely to goodness she must immediately resign. It is beyond ridiculous to defect in the days leading up to the vote. |

If she wins as the Labour candidate, surely to goodness she must immediately resign. It is beyond ridiculous to defect in the days leading up to the vote. It is extremely unlikely that she will be elected but regardless of that UKIP would be wise to refuse membership to an individual that has shown such an appalling lack of integrity. |
