Gus Bilirakis was absent at a funeral but would have voted for Jordan.

Absolute bloodbath for Jordan. Some of us scroll through these posts using the most recent posts mechanism and aren't always concentrating on the subject line. So given what's going on at present reading absolute bloodbath for Jordan really was heartstopping for a moment- that really was the big extension to the middle east conflict everyone feared, but then realised not that Jordan and only a metaphorical bloodbath.

Her transition from a moderate into one of Trump’s biggest cheerleaders may have made her unpopular with quite a few people

Do you see/hear her speech nominating Jordan? How many times will she back him until he can’t win?

There were times, like when she was referring to "the people's House", when I thought she had been taking lessons from Sir Humphrey Appleby's guidance on the lethal effect of praise.

Rep opponents of Jordan are pushing for a second vote. Presumably this means they think a) he'll lose again and b) losing again will mean he's done

He needs a big improvement on the second ballot if he wants to stay in this.
