While we are waiting for the official figures of robbienicoll, I think the best three this week were borisminor, kevinf and iainbhxI am fairly sure iainbhx has also taken over the lead for the month. Well done all!

I suggest borisminor and batman have not looked at the Wealdon results between 2019 and 2023 for Heathfield North, Heathfield South & Maresfield. The Conservatives lost 43.7% of their vote in HN in 2023 and the seat was gained by an Independent, 50.3% in HS and the seat was won by an Independent and in Maresfield they lost 60.5% and the seat was won by Green. Unless the Independent voters go back to Conservative, this potentially looks like a Green win as the Conservatives only won 32.7% support in the May 2023 election in these three Wealden seats. In contrast the 2 Independents and Green won 61.2%. Not sure what the numbers will be but am not convinced Conservatives can win back 17.3% of the support they lost in May.

As a non-combattant this month, can I raise my personal bugbear that it's not really helpful or good form to comment on the predictions that have been made (other than to point out obvious errors) before the deadline for all predictions to have been made.

I have been away and not really following this weeks competition, but I was actually in Mayfield and wondering about the big Green signboards....

Apologies, but not living in the UK - in Canada - was unsure what your rules are: "Wealdon results between 2019 and 2023 for Heathfield North, Heathfield South & Maresfield show the Conservatives lost 43.7% of their vote in HN in 2023 and the seat was gained by an Independent, 50.3% in HS and the seat was won by an Independent and in Maresfield they lost 60.5% and the seat was won by Green. In contrast the 2 Independents and Green won 61.2%. Not sure what the numbers will be but am not convinced Conservatives can win back 17.3% of the support they lost in May".
Is that better?

11 entries to close the month, all on time but with peterl picking up 1 fault for going under in St Peter and the Waterfront, and Richard Cromwell picking up 3 for having a phantom Reform UK candidate in Plymstock Dunstone. Denham, Buckinghamshire: 10 Conservative hold, majorities ranging from 4% (borisminor) to 26% (Richard Cromwell). Batman Independent (Harding) gain with 1% majority over Conservative. Heathfield and Mayfield, East Sussex: 8 Green gain from Conservative, with batman, borisminor and Richard Cromwell Conservative hold. Plymstock Dunstone, Plymouth: 100% Labour gain from Conservative, with majorities ranging from 8% (batman) to 34% (kevinf). St Peter and the Waterfront, Plymouth: 100% Labour hold, with majorities ranging from 20% (batman) to 38% (andrewp). Poulton North, Warrington: 100% Labour hold, with majorities ranging from 14% (corradino) to 33% (Richard Cromwell). Results available at - docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Uo5QMmwsBL74ysLsNU9-01TrXr9XH-8-l1zDf2kPFag/edit?usp=sharing - good luck to all!
