9 entries this week, with manchesterman and johnloony back in but no Richard Cromwell, all on time and correct. Maidstone Central, Kent: 8 Liberal Democrat hold, majorities ranging from 2.9% (iainbhx) to 12% (Robert Waller), and johnloony Conservative gain with 5% majority. East Kilbride West, South Lanarkshire: 100% Labour ahead on first preferences and winners after transfers, majorities ranging from 7% (Robert Waller) to 19% (corradino). Results available at - docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1o0uNlzBocAQOKPSU5N8xt3S8WQ00eZCD6QRkKxiQq3s/edit?usp=sharing - good luck to all!

Domestic circumstances (Eileen very poorly) mean I am out of the competition for this month, but I am still looking at the results and have made my own private predictions. Maidstone was of course close to me in all senses, and had I been sending in my prediction I would have been incurring wrong winner faults as I was far from convinced of a Lib Dem hold. I had actually gone for a Green win, and I wasn't far wrong, of course. Very difficult one to predict as (a) the division is extremely varied, with all parties having their areas of strength and weakness , and (b) the Lib Dems and Greens were very much fishing for the same votes, in a way that Tories and Labour weren't.
