robbienicoll can I just confirm that, in line with past precedent, Shetland is optional in this competition on the grounds that there are no party candidates standing, and that no penalties will be incurred for not making a prediction for that one?

No. If all the candidates are independent, the rule is that you have to predict the exact number of votes (not just percentages) for all candidates. If you get any of the numbers wrong, you get force-fed with haggis and cullen skink.

Yes that's correct, as is the punishment of haggis and cullen skink which is more like a treat in my opinion! Currently on holiday in Birmingham so the spiel will be delayed until next week, but will get the results tomorrow.
