This could be fireworks - not because of Cllr Cranney but because of the Tories threatening to boycott all Council meetings until Cllr Cranney resigns. In reality there is naff all they can force legally with him being elected last week. So if the Tories are forced to follow through with that, it's 11-10 Lab/Ind on the Council, and Cllr Cranney will be close to having a casting vote or a majority Labour council.
Seems a heck of an over-reaction, why not just suspend and carry on?
