I’m sorry to hear that news. She was a tenacious advocate for her members - even if I didn’t see eye to eye with her. RIP.

This is the thread for the municipal year that's finishing, but I'm going to quote this post in the right thread. AdminSTB maybe unpin this thread and pin the 2023-2024 one?

I don't know if Antiochian is still here, but there was a number of councillors elected for the Andover Alliance, who exploded due to personal conflicts. I'm back! Yes they did... the Andover Independents were founded by the three thinking members of the Alliance and continued to hold the high-ground being effectively the opposition at Test Valley as the LibDems were poodles in the Tories lap.

Before he's actually attended a council meeting apparently. There may be special circumstances, but on the face of it, that seems completely ridiculous May have to do with this: Dewey now charged with with offences relating to indecent images of children as part of a National Crime Agency investigation. He was arrested by National Crime Agency officers at his home in Hackney in April 2022 and was released under investigation. www.hackneycitizen.co.uk/2023/06/30/former-councillor-tom-dewey-charged-indecent-images-children/
