Wilmington: Con 48 Lab 25 Lib Dem 20 Green 7 Maypole: Con 53, Lab 24, Lib Dem 18, Green 5 Wilmington, Kent: Con 58, Lab 21, Lib Dem 21 Judging by the parties, I think you've labelled the wrong Wilmington as Kent (or wrongly have a Green in the district rather than the county)... You're right, sorry, will edit it.

Exceptionally close finish, with andrewp claiming the top place by 0.8 faults over greenhert. Congratulations to both and to Right Leaning for the podium finish and leading the contest tiebreaker.

A very exciting and ultra-close conclusion to the month!
Many congratulations to Andrew and Greenhert for the whole month ...
... and to Tonyotim and Greenhert for not (as I certainly did) falling for the narrative of the personal vote and the dire Conservative national position in these three contests, which very unusually overlapped so much - so really only one major judgment was required for the week.

The Ann Allen personal vote thing of course could work in two ways. We tend to assume that when a particularly popular and effective councillor goes, the vote reverts to its "natural" place, in this case Labour voters who had been lending their votes to Ann will revert to Labour. I would argue that this doesn't always happen at the next election, particularly after a death, but there is often a delay of an election cycle or two until it is realised that the new councillor isn't half the person their predecessor was. So some of the Tory vote hanging on may be this sort of halo effect.

Have we ever had to use 2 decimal places before! I seem to remember doing it before but I don't think it was for the top 3, might be wrong though.
