If the New Forest weather is anything like Eastleigh's it is a pretty dreich day to turnout and vote. ah, the weather we on the continent are getting for christmas this year was delivered to Britain a day early? I looked at the forecast yesterday and hastily rescheduled a christmasday hike in the Rheingau with my dad to today. |

I understand Labour have won the Handforth town council by-election to replace Brian Tolver. Hopefully their new councillor reads the standing orders and understands them.

Every year, when the Frampton Fair is held in Frampton-on-Severn, and the lanes for miles around are solid queues of traffic, I tell myself that pun, since I don't know anyone else who'd even get it. It's nice to know there is one other person, after all. |
