What were the council election results there, I am guessing Labour did well as Nottinghamshire was a poor performing council for UKIP ?

What indicate to me a Conservative hold with UKIP in 2nd .

not sure because there is potential there unlike Eastleigh to have a real good increase in the labour share.

Its fair to say that South Suffolk isn't UKIP's best area in the county, but there could be potential there - particularly we ought to be able to do well in Sudbury/Great Cornard, judging by socialy similar towns nearby. Disappointingly we didn't have candidates there in May
