That'll do for now. Personal votes are built up over time, day 1 is tomorrow.

Blimey that's quite a result for the Greens!

Sitting on a Brandling Park bench on my way back from the pub. A great result from Thom especially as the Tories threw everything at it due to Parliamentary boundary changes. The Tories highlighted Tweets Thom made when 14yo and it's backfired. Third place dirty Tories!

South Tyneside council's twitter account is rather stupidly insisting on calling Cleadon and East Boldon a Conservative gain, based on the ex-councillor having been an Independent. Lots of people are correcting them. I don't think I would want to draw attention to that as people might start asking how he came to be an Independent.

Blimey that's quite a result for the Greens! Astonishing in South Tyneside's only Con-Lab marginal ward.

Those Newcastle ones are wrong as there's always been a Conservative candidate there.
