Following last year's abortive attempt to see who was standing for what elections and the announcement today that at least England will be voting on May 6th (Scotland and Wales's pools panel yet to meet), I believe we can now start asking "Who's going to get elected this time?". As a reminder, because only England has confirmed its intention to vote, the elections that are listed are those for England, with Wales and Scotland to be added when a decision is made.
English Elections on May 6th County Councils (24) Metropolitan Councils (36) of which three have all out elections Unitary Authorities (58) of which thirteen have all out elections District Councils (62) of which two will have all out elections, seven have half the seats up and 53 have one third elections London Assembly London Mayor Isles of Sicilly Metro Mayors (7) Local Mayors (5) Police and Crime Commissioners (36)
If you are standing as a candidate, please post the name that will appear on the ballot paper, the ward / constituency / area / region that you are standing in, what party (if any) you are representing, whether the party stood last time (and their result) and who won the area last time.

The Scottish Government (as the Welsh Government) have both passed bills stating that the elections for the Parliament and Senedd may be delayed but have so far not done that but at the same time have not confirmed that they will be. Which makes the fact that Wales HAS now to hold the PCC's on May 6th (thanks to that being a Westminster matter) is going to make Mark Drakeford hopping mad. With regard to the Isles of Siclly then someone needs to update the Wikipedia page en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_of_the_Isles_of_Scilly and update opencouncildata.co.uk who both say 2021.

That's a good point about the PCC elections. The Welsh Government has no power to move those so they might as well go ahead with the Senedd election on the same day. My quip about the Isles of Scilly referred to the fact that you've spelt their name wrong. Which you've now done twice, despite managing to get the URL of that Wikipedia page correct. Municipal elections were indeed held on the Italian island of Sicily last October.

Using the main menu there are 40 Police & Crime Commissioners listed and 35 met authorities mentioned There are no PCC elections in Greater London or Greater Manchester (they lie in the hands of the Mayor) and in Staffordshire, Essex, Northamptonshire and North Yorkshire, the PCC has now been given fire brigade powers making them PCFC (Police, Crime and Fire Comissioners)

If they are going ahead, I will be standing as Jonathan Harston for Whitby Streonshalh Division of North Yorkshire County Council fot the Liberal Democrats. We have a double dilemma. The elections may be cancelled for Covid, or they may be cancelled for local government reorganisation. Last summer it was the stated intention that there would be no elections this yerar, but by last Autumn it was strongly suggested that doing so would be rushing the changes too quickly and that they would go ahead. Last week it was supposed to be announced "within the week" what was happening, but that's now 14 daya ago. Everybody, EROs, parties, candidates, councillors, are progressing on the assumption they will be happening, but I've still got half my January leaflets Covid Locked-Up in my hallway. Result last time: Joe Plant (Con) 747 - 43.2% Rob Bernett (Lab) 719 - 41.6% Jonathan Harston (LD) 133 - 7.7% Deirdre Abbott (UKIP) 131 - 7.6% link

There is only police commissioner in my area this year, so I will not be standing this year. Barring the slim chance of a by election arising I suppose.

Assuming the elections aren't cancelled (and I'm still half expecting them to be cancelled sometime between the day before nominations close and election day itself) I'll be standing for the Greens in Holbrook ward, Coventry for the delayed 2020 election. I came second in the ward back in 2019.
