Standing for London Assembly, North East constituency, for Reform U.K.
Last time around it was rock solid Labour, we didn’t stand before because we didn’t exist but UKIP managed 5% with the delightful Freddy Vachha as candidate so that’s something to aim for.

Now that the SOPNs have been published, it is no secret that I am standing in Penn and Mill End ward, Three Rivers DC. Mrs ColinJ is a candidate in Leavesden ward, TRDC.

With nominations closed we have the following interest in the elections being held on May 6th:
Police and Crime Commissioners: 0 Devolved Institutions: 2 County Council Elections: 3 Metropolitan Council Elections: 4 Non Metropolitan Council Elections: 3 Unitary Council Elections: 1 Delayed By-elections: 1
I will produce a battleground over the next few days ranked by swing needed for our member to be elected, but based on the results last time we have three councillors already on Bradford, Portsmouth and Doncaster.

My ward has been a Labour Conservative marginal in the past, but this year the Conservatives have pretty much ignored it, as they are in a close battle with the LDs in Bassett, the other ward in Romsey & Southampton North constituency - in 2019, the incumbent hung on by just 16 votes.

That's a bit of a strange decision by the Tories. With few students around that helps them in your ward you would think.

The student vote here in Swaythling is heavily Labour - the polling district with a large student accommodation complex was my best polling district in 2016 - I got about 80% of the vote.*Edit* - I didn't read your post properly...

Rubbish thread. In previous years the opening post was updated with a clear list of the forum members standing for election.
