Sheffield unchanged. They didn't take my recommendation to clean up the boundary through the split ward, unneccessarilly sticking to an arbitary polling district boundary, so slicing straight through Prince Edward's School and houses on Hangthwaite Close. Isn't that the sort of thing that can get tidied up separately from a major boundary review?

Not quite - boundary changes compared with revised recommendations for Bradford E, Bradford S, Bridlington & The Wolds and Goole & Pocklington, Are you sure? I've got "Final recommendations" and "Revised recommendations" turned on, and they are identical. (Haven't finished checking names yet.) Yes, "Initial proposals" have the differences you mention, but not the revised recommendations, the step immediately before today. Edit: Ah ha! I zoomed in as far as possible and there's a Bradford change showing up, moving a few hundred yards. If they did that, they could have done my Prince Edward School bit.

They’re very minor adjustments, but basically part of Bowling & Barkerend now goes into South, whereas it was previously part of Little Horton.

Yes - the differences from the revised proposals are listed in the full report and also in the BC's summary spreadsheet of changes in the final recommendations.

I think its more to do with the Liberal Democrat Group on Wakefield Council , all of whom are Knottingley Councillors .

The name inflation in Leeds and Hull is pretty awful but is unsurprising. It seems like just the way things are going to be going forward. The boundaries are poor but they were always going to be with +- 5% variation tolerance.

If the Hull City Council boundary extension referendum had passed then we could have avoided the name inflation there.
