Twitter on fire about Survation. Apparently sensational so a big swing and a lead of 5% for yes then? First thing - how do they *know*?? Second thing - why do you have so many CyberNats in your timeline?

It's not 24 hours insofar as they will still hold some big stories back for print, which usually go online late the night before.

According to the editor of the Record, he's being bombarded with calls from the finance industry in Scotland wanting to know what the poll figures are. If I was them I would consider commissioning my own polls, not that expensive if you're seriously worried.

In the interests of balance and because I think some of you south of the border really do think this is just one-sided, the Yes campaign offices in Newington have had their windows redecorated with the words "No" and "Nazi" and swastika symbols. Last week a Yes campaigner outside Tynecastle was headbutted by a No activist, although given the location it may just have been a typical Jambo

Clearly a strong class correleation there - all the grottier bits of the cities are as far as I can tell the strongest for Yes. Am I right in thinking that the bit of Glasgow which is the strongest red is the Pakistani area?
