Yes but not with that name. It was their new version of Hallam.
I always wanted Hallam to stretch a bit into Derbyshire so we could have the constituency of Hope Hallam and Hathersage.
"In Hope, Hallam and Hathersage, helections hardly hever happen".

Are we allowed to have "Hell, Hull and Halifax" in this thread?

Where to begin? Bodmin & St Austell, Truro & Newquay, Faversham & Canterbury, Finsbury Park & Stoke Newington etc. I am thankful that a 650 seat review will generally avoid messes like these. What's wrong with Faversham and Canterbury? It is a more coherent seat than Faversham and Mid Kent which is a bit of a mess as almost all 'Mid....' constituencies are - and it meant that Whitstable and Herne Bay could be united in one constituency - albeit the terribly named Kent North Coastal. Costa Geriatrica would have been a much better name, as I'm sure we will all agree

Sorry - this one crosses a regional boundary, so I'm not even going to try to map it (and it's a real gerrymander, of course):
Hampstead, Harrow, Hendon and Hertsmere
Aldenham East (Hertsmere) (3639) Elstree (Hertsmere) (3648) Canons (Harrow) (9272) Edgware (Barnet) (9901) Hale (Barnet) (10495) Mill Hill (Barnet) (11380) Finchley Church End (Barnet) (9733) Garden Suburb (Barnet) (9457) Hampstead Town (Camden) (6609)

Where were you when you first found out about Mersey Banks. Vote UK members reflect on the dark day as part of a 10 part series. Next week: Leeds Metropolitan & Ossett

That's an objectively better seat than half of the last review

Could do this with existing constituencies too. Cynon Valley could become Aberdare, Aberaman, Aberpennar, and Abercynon. Rhondda could become Treherbert, Treorchy, Ton Pentre, Tonypandy, Trealaw, and Tylorstown. Brecon and Radnorshire could become Llandrindod, Llangunllo, Llanbadarn Fawr, Llanbadarn Fynydd, Llanyre, Llanelwedd, Llanafanfawr, Llanwrtyd, Llangors, Llangattock, and Llangynidr.

If I remember correctly Llan is the Welsh equivalent of the Anglo-Saxon ton, or ham.
