I’ve probably asked this before but is anyone going to start polling VI for the Assembly as well as the Mayor? The Mayoral contest is obviously a foregone conclusion but there are a couple of assembly constituencies that could be interesting, and then there’s the knock-on effect for the londonwide list.

This tweet has vanished because it reported London VI for a GE wrongly - its actually Labour leading the Tories by 53-26 (not 53-29)

Whilst we're still bobbing about 40-40 we do seem perhaps to have reached a turning point where a narrow conservative lead has turned into a narrow labour one across a few different polls.

I have to confess I find it a bit odd that we (LDs) are creeping up a bit in these polls. May just be a bit of random stuff within the margins of error, but I confess (for the second time) that I can see no reasons at all for us creeping up in a UK wide poll. Still I should not complain. Plenty still to go for!
