I really don't know quite enough about it. You didn't mean me did you? No, but you did promise to do Bassetlaw and Ross, Skye & Lochaber..... In progress.

Maybe it is time for an updated list of seats still not done (plus those that need redoing or improving)?

Thank you for that. Maybe this should be an (appropriately updated) sticky somewhere?

I believe John is very diligent in updating his lists within the various regional threads. As editing one's own post does not automatically 'bump' the post to the top, this may perhaps be overlooked. Thank you to John for his continued massive and high quality contribution to this project.
I agree that if anyone is willing to put all onto a single post as Andrew has just done - and keep it updated - that would also be very helpful.

Given how many Scottish posters we have, Scotland seems surprisingly incomplete

I did half-write Colchester a while back. I really ought to go back and finish it.

Given how many Scottish posters we have, Scotland seems surprisingly incomplete Scotland and Wales are both under represented! In England our big blocks of gaps seem to be Durham, Cheshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, West Kent, Berkshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

andrewp Without being too presumptuous, i submitted a rather more detailed profile of Hexham than the original so i would strike that constituency off the list.

True but we have more active Scottish than Welsh members. I think a lot of the English ones have been claimed although Northants and Leics are still lacking even then

List amended accordingly. I can confirm that I routinely update the lists on each regional thread when anything new is posted. I took the view that it was more useful to have short lists here than a very large one somewhere else, although I commend andrewp ‘s collation of my lists. Personally I exhausted constituencies I was familiar with a long time ago. But I have added a few within reach where I can spend a day driving around (and stopping for walks). Probably there are 3-6 more within reasonable reach of where I live, but really we need regular posters here who have not engaged with this exercise previously to do their local areas.

There are still some black spots where we don't have any active members. I'm not sure we have anyone from Northamptonshire, the western half of Leicestershire or Wiltshire for example

I agree, I think your regional lists are more useful than my collation! But I will try and keep my collated list updated too. I too have exhausted places that I am very familiar with. I think there are about 4 more I can do. I’m going to do Monmouth next unless anyone else does it first.

I'm not sure we have anyone from Northamptonshire, the western half of Leicestershire or Wiltshire for example I've got a fair working knowledge of Wiltshire (and of course Durham too), but it's quite dispersed. For example, I know the towns of Chippenham and Devizes well, but not so much Melksham or Marlborough, which means I wouldn't want to do those profiles unless there was no other option.

Given how many Scottish posters we have, Scotland seems surprisingly incomplete I do intend to write entries on all the Glasgow seats eventually - I have some time off soon so maybe I will make a start on Central or North East. There are only two Highland seats left and I notice carlton43 has elected to write up RSL so maybe I will have a shot at Argyll and Bute. I also have some knowledge of Perthshire and Stirling along with a couple of other western Central Belt seats, but who knows when I will get round to them! There are definitely posters on here who could write far better entries about the east coast, Edinburgh and southern Scotland than I ever could.

By my calculations,
In England, there are 108 constituencies that have never been done. 9 which were done but deleted and 11 which are a ‘bit light’ In Wales, there are 16 that have never been done, and 2 which have been deleted In Scotland, there are 43 that have never been done. In Northern Ireland there is an entry for each seat
Total : 167 that have never had an entry, 11 which have been done but deleted and 11 which are a bit light, which means we have 461 seats that have a ‘full’ entry.
