Patricia Bamford resigned as Liberal Democrat councillor for Chessington South ward on Kingston-upon-Thames council on 30 November last year. The Labour candidate for the byelection will be Charles Bamford - her son.

Even more bizarrely the Lib Dem candidate is Andrew Mackinlay - former Labour MP for Thurrock.

Just since 2019 I think - one of 4 Yorkshire Party councillors elected in Selby

Cllr Marina Ahmad has resigned her seat in Crystal Palace ward on LB Bromley. She is expected to be elected as the Labour Assembly Member for Lambeth and Southwark on 6th May

Hartburn is Matt Vickers, now MP for Stockton South. Yarm appears to be Tony Hampton, Conservative. Llansamlet is Labour, Mo Sykes has resigned to return to Ireland to care for her family (by-election on 6 May). Hatfield Peverel was David Bebb, Conservative.
