follow the link above and download the March 2020 dataset Which I now have, after a forced refresh. The option to download the 2020 data has also only just appeared for me, almost an hour after it was supposed to. I'm sure I'd tried clicking Refresh multiple times before that.

During the Sky News paper review last night Andrew McGuire said "Brenda from Bristol, cover your ears, General Election 2023, you mark my words!". Assuming that he means that the Conservatives scrap the Fixed Term Parliament Act, when would be the earliest 2023 election in order to get these new boundaries fixed and give the Conservatives a fifty seat cushion between winning and not getting a majority?

The Parliamentary Boundary Commissions are under a duty to report before 1 July 2023; their recommendations are automatically implemented now. It seems likely they will report close to the deadline, and implementation will take some time for local authorities to arrange. So I think even an Autumn election would be a trial and it would have to be late Autumn (November) at the earliest.

There would be questions asked about going earlier than 4 whole years had elapsed from the last one-think early 2024 more realistic.
