Erm which Communist Party is the genuine one? This one is the Communist Party of Britain, which split away from the Communist Party of Great Britain in 1988, but is de-facto a continuation of the CPGB in terms of archives, policies, and people. The CPGB itself terminated its own existence in 1991, when it split into the Democratic Left (the majority) and the continuity CPGB (the minority). The continuing CPGB didn't continue for very long, and a small bit of it still exists under the name CPGB (Provisional Central Committee). In other words, it's trying to build itself up into some sort of existence, but unsuccessfully. I don’t know why but I read that in the voice of Sir Humphrey Appleby.

It is getting harder to predict these things, other than a consistent swing away from Con and Lab where there are alternatives.

I know there's an Independent intervention here, but that's a big crash in the Labour vote.

When did that model of Dalek use that colour scheme? It doesn't match Dalek Sec's colours.

In other words, it's trying to build itself up into some sort of existence, but unsuccessfully. I don’t know why but I read that in the voice of Sir Humphrey Appleby. to continue the script ....
Jim Hacker - " For goodness' sake, Humphrey, speak English, so what are you trying to say about the Communist Party ?
Bernard Woolley - " I think Sir Humphrey's trying to tell you not to worry about them, Minister "
Sir Humphrey - " Bernard ! It is not for humble civil servants such as ourselves to advise our political masters on electoral matters, that would be most inappropriate ! However, Minister, better minds than I have concluded that historically, at any one time, 300,000 " nutty extremists " are involved in British Politics ! So given the available data from reputable polling organisations, and taking a broad overview of the contempory political landscape and temporarily putting aside my Civil Service neutrality, I suspect Bernard may be correct in his rather crude analysis ...
Jim Hacker - " You mean because of Corbyn, all the nutters joined " Momentum " or the Labour Party, and the Communist Party are dead in the water ?
Sir Humphrey - " Yes, Minister " ...

When did that model of Dalek use that colour scheme? It doesn't match Dalek Sec's colours. What about the colour scheme of the gent standing beside the Dalek? That doesn't look like a Labour candidate to me. Are we sure this is Chorley , or is this all a big legpull?

When did that model of Dalek use that colour scheme? It doesn't match Dalek Sec's colours. The hashtag says 'Eccleston' but Sec was from the Tennant era (and also spent most of his time in Canary Wharf and the Empire State Building). I keep getting visions of the climactic scene in Genesis of the Daleks lately, when I imagine the logical conclusion for a rabble-rousing 'creator' of an anti-refugee and anti-foreigner movement who is found to be of foreign and refugee stock himself...

Really poor, but only what we already knew after LW gained the seat Rhonda ward is not in the Rhonda constituency but in Pontypridd seat. No, that would make too much sense!

Rhonda ward is not in the Rhonda constituency but in Pontypridd seat. No, that would make too much sense! And as I keep getting shouted at about my spelling of Welsh place names by my old college roommate who’s an ex-PC member, there are two D’s in Rhondda 😉
