Quite inevitable, that FPÖ's Hofer will step down and that Kickl will take over, what will make BlackBlue basically impossible. I doubt, that Kickl will be able to appeal to a broader audience.

Remarkable: ÖVP is far ahead in all districts of UpperStyria, an old mining&industrial area.

Well, with the lead they have nationally they'll be ahead nearly everywhere I suspect. Odd election.

Record distance between first and second place.
Record low for SPÖ.
Record high for GREENS.
Record high for NEOS.

ÖVP's result in Vorarlberg is not impressive. Also apparently Vienna (where SPÖ seems to be clearly ahead, while in Carinthia&Burgenland they are far, far behind).

In formerly deeply red St.Pölten ÖVP is first (could change tomorrow), the first time (apart from regional elections).

ÖVP gained especially in rather deprived areas, where SPÖ and then FPÖ have been strong; less in SubUrbs, lowest in cities.

How do you think ÖVP will approach coalition talks? Will we see another ÖVP/FPÖ pact, with the former in a much stronger position, or an ÖVP/Greens/NEOS alliance, or even an ÖVP/SPÖ coalition? FPO alredy said they are going to be in opposition. Also, OVP/Greens might have a majority without NEOS.

The Greens are second in Graz-Stadt. They'll be first in Wien-Neubau, ORF Vienna just have prognosed them with 36.5% ahead of the SPÖ with 20.5% with 90% counted. Can someone provide me with links to those election results please? Which site is the correct one? wahl19.bmi.gv.at/index.htmlEdit: And they've already won two other districts: wahl19.bmi.gv.at/9.html

FPÖ won't be willing (and would be too instable). The GREENS are very left and incapable. Kurz' hope will be, that RendiWagner will steo down and that the right wing around Doskozil will take over (and will not be too instable).
