19 entrants this week with ricmk returning after last week's absence, Edgbaston making (I think) a maiden prediction whilst ElectionMapsUK and SouthYorkshireSocialist appear for the last week of the month. There is no entry from Yellow Peril - hope everything is OK at home for him.
Stroud, Berkeley Vale:
17 Conservative hold with majority from 4% (hempie, iainbhx & Robert Waller over Labour) to 25% (ricmk over Liberal Democrat & Right Leaning over Labour)
with Edgbaston and Toylyyev a Labour gain.
We are away for the night so the official results should be posted during Friday afternoon.

I'm back. Primary reason for my non-appearance last week was equipment malfunction, now sorted, but secondary reason was a serious domestic crisis which meant I was not available to deal with aforementioned technical problem. I did have my forecast on paper and know I would have actually won in Berkeley-this is the second time something like this has happened My forecast was Con 53, Lab 32, LD 11, Green 4 which would have won the week I think and lifted me to 5th or 6th for the month though I was too far adrift already to trouble the likes of andrewp or robbienicoll. As it was 100 points and down to 14th  Changed circumstances means I probably will reduce my input here substantially and in particular won't take part in this comp for the time being. Which will no doubt be a relief to middleenglander if he's going to get as many as 21 contestants to deal with. |
