Lewes, Lewes Priory (2027). Imogen Makepeace, Green to Independent. Somerset, Taunton South (2027). Hazel Prior-Sankey, Liberal Democrat to Independent. Wiltshire, Trowbridge Adcroft (2025). Edward Kirk, Conservative to no description. Hazel Prior-Sankey is a surprising one- I can’t find a reason yet. She’s been an LD councillor for over 30 years and has been the mayor, the chair of council and a cabinet member. Perhaps wanted to be PPC?

Whether that changes will indicate if it's a specific group disagreement or bigger?

That council ceased to exist on 31/3/23, so it’s interesting that website is still live! I doubt it’s anything to do with parliamentary selection as she is in her late 60’s. Her son stood for the Tories at the last Somerset elections so maybe linked to that, or of course could well be absolutely nothing to do with that!

Uni friend Natasha Carlin (Blundellsands) has also left the party to sit as an independent, in a similarly written and formatted statement.

For some of us, the fact that the Labour Party today feels a world away from the Party in 2019 is something we're really proud of. The policies of the 2017 and 2019 manifestos inspired me only to vomit.

Labour will be better for the Tories, but that's all. Certainly not 'proud' - I like the local MP, maybe I will decide in the general election.

This may be related to Bajaj allegedly being assaulted in a car park by another Conservative councillor.

That's the point.
