Longlisted for Ealing North in 2019 A cynic might imagine that the two things are related. I may be being unfair but my instant reaction from reading the article was she sounds like a bit of a grifter who's flounced after not getting her own way and racism is the all too convenient accusation to throw around. I might be wrong though.

Kevin Bean, Secretary of Liverpool Wavertree Constituency Labour Party, aka James Harvey, speaking member of the Provisional Central Committee of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Provisional Central Committee), expelled from Labour:

It appears there are now six Independent councillors in Plymouth who have left the Conservative group.
Richard Ball (Compton ward) Ian Bowyer (Eggbuckland ward) Lynda Bowyer (Eggbuckland ward) Tony Carson (Peverell ward) Heath Cook (Eggbuckland ward) Andrea Johnson (Compton ward)
There are also two Independent councillors who were originally Labour: Kevin Neil (Stoke ward) and Chaz Singh (Drake ward).

Is it all egos or is there more to it?

Not certain but I detect an underlying issue of a catastrophic loss of confidence in the current Leader of the Conservative group, on the basis that he isn't very good.

I assume it’s revenge for Ian Bowyer being deposed in March?
Noticeable that it’s almost all the Tories from the city wards and none of those from Plympton and Plymstock. Although the leader represents Compton.

Is CPGB (PCC) different to another version of the CPGB?
EDIT: I've just looked it up. It's a post 1991 group who claimed the name. What an interesting world these people inhabit.

Kevin's talks on Labour, socialist and revolutionary history are really interesting. Clearly from a specific Marxist perspective but well worth listening to (assuming you listen to things you don't necessarily agree with). Available on Labour Left Alliance website.

The JC article says he's a former lecturer- any idea what happened there?

What are the two names about? A sort of Lutte Ouvrière "name in case you have to run away" thing?
