I get on with Dan, despite not agreeing with him on everything. He lay the foundations which enabled me to win my Council seat in 2012 - which probably predisposes me to like him. Purge Her! There are some who'd love to do that!

Bloody hell, if being unpleasant to Merseymike on social media was a resigning offence, most of us would have to go!

Actually, nearly all the unpleasantness (on here, at least) comes from people in the same party....

Merton website no longer showing David Dean (Dundonald ward) as a member of the Conservative group. He had returned to it after his suspension last year.

Merton website no longer showing David Dean (Dundonald ward) as a member of the Conservative group. He had returned to it after his suspension last year. I was told (at the time) by Democratic Services that despite his suspension, he would remain listed on the website with the Conservative group despite and during his suspension, whilst their investigation was held. I'd not seen any announcement on their investigation. EDIT: According to Merton Council, he resigned from the Conservative group with effect from 6 January 2017, and that's why his listing has been changed.

Seriously, if there is ever an election to lose, its one where your candidate is David Dean. Ive had some ... Odd ... communication s from him.

His politics are actually ok once you get past the insanity.

Claims to be allergic to mobile phones and made some intredting comments on Sadiq Khans view on white people to people on the doorstep. Arthur is probably most bothered by the fact he doesn't drink.

I'd forgotten about the second bit. That makes it even worse!
