I find this view of the National Trust very odd, surely this is a body which might not appeal to everyone but does appeal to many Britons regardless of party political persuasion, class, sex or race? I think the WWF made a mistake choosing the panda as a symbol by the way, at least choose a creature that wants to survive.

I have to say im not aware of a preponderance of National Trust members in the Greens, I agree with your point about the Panda.

Hopefully a red panda? Now that is cute. It isn't and please don't assist that bad use of 'cute' imported from America. It ought to mean shrewd and wise from the fuller acute of which it is just a shortening. The 'He, she and it is kinda cute' is just dire in all particulars.

I am of the 'Old Ways'.....................Merrie Yuletide NOA. I may well prove to the new form of The Ghost of Christmas (Saturnalia) Future. We are on the ascendant after an awkward 2K year intermission!

Saul of Tarsus (Straight Street, Damascus City Council) Pharisee to Nazarene And did he resign to fight a by election under his new colours? No! No! He did not! He repudiated his past, changed colours, formed a subversive party within the party, altered him name and started to recruit a mass Movement.

He repudiated his past, changed colours, formed a subversive party within the party, altered him name and started to recruit a mass Movement. Although this action was not without personal consequences of course. He fell out with most of his close colleagues, had to be constantly on the move for fear of arrest and was eventually captured, imprisoned for a number of years and then presumably executed. I say presumably, because it isn't clear how or when he actually died. He did, of course, have an appeal to the NEC (or the Emperor as it was known in those days).

Brian of Nazareth was part of an organisation that didn't believe in such bourgeois distractions as elections.
