tbf after the catalogue of corruption evidenced over recent times, those who still maintain they will vote Tory at the next GE wont be swayed by just one more example being thrown on top of the pile.
Tory (and Labour) VI tends to bottom out at around 22% or so and I can't see it going any lower whatever they do! There seems to be no depravity that is beyond the pale for some people..such is life.

In terms of actual votes at a GE I couldn't easily see either falling below 25% for now in GB(Labour got 28.3% even in 1983)

Tory VI went lower in the Fifty Days Of Truss Misrule.
And let's not airbrush out that Sunak promised us "integrity" and "accountability" when about to enter Number 10 as PM for the first time.

Brief reminder that this is one MP getting a careless but not deliberate finding from HMRC. I think from memory it was 4 labour MPs who went to prison for fraud from those sitting in 2005-2010. Edit: 5

Edit: 5 Did you know that excusing or minimising poor practice by someone on one side through referencing actions by those on another side you posit as equivalent is sometimes known as "whataboutery"? In any case I'd advise you not to go too far down that route, since the total amount involved across all five cases amounts to one-fiftieth of the amount Nadhim Zahawi is reported to have paid.

Who here is on the YouGov panel?
Have you been receiving surveys lately? I used to get maybe two or three a week but I haven't had one for about two weeks. They usually slow down a bit when you're close to the £50 reward but not this much.

I’m on the panel but they always seem very infrequent; I got one a the weekend but IIRC it was non political - about whether I’d switch to a non gas boiler.

There is a fundamental difference between fraud and carelessness. I thought we'd all learned over the last few days that 'carelessness' in tax matters is most definitely not the same as 'carelessness' in general terms. And it is not different to fraud, it's just a category of it.

I used to get them all the time. About 18 months or so ago, they just stopped.
