I regret to say that for a variety of reasons I will be unable to organise the competition this month. Hopefully will be able to do so in August.
More haste, less speed - now corrected.

Hope you are ok, and I'm sure we can cover for another month, particualarly if robbienicoll can fire up his spreadsheets again. Take care.

Hope everything is okay with you Middleenglander, I'm more than happy to cover this month. Yes all OK. We have moved out of our former home and into rented accommodation whilst searching for a new house. Everything takes so long to sort out, including change of addresses, and this heat does not help. Gradually getting sorted out but still a way to go. At least we now have more reliable broadband thanks to a little yellow and black EE box than the copper cables at our old place.

10 entries to open this month, with nothing from ricmk or David Boothroyd, but a return from olympian95. All on time and correct. Kingsmead, Bath and North East Somerset: 9 Liberal Democrat gain from Conservative, with europeanlefty Conservative hold. Curborough, Lichfield: 100% Conservative hold, with majorities ranging from 4% (syorkssocialist) to 22% (olympian95), all over Labour. Shifnal South and Cosford, Shropshire: 100% Conservative hold, with majorities ranging from 20% (andrewp over Ind (Mitchell)) to 54% (priceofdawn over Ind (Mitchell)). Spreadsheet available at docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1K7i_oIPYoBJn2HUT4fEhZxXp9XSmzrmIMsgtfoHdZ0U/edit?usp=sharing - good luck to all!

On the basis of the first two results I reckon David Boothroyd is the winner. Obviously he as the one who predicted this was one to stay away from. Edit-on the basis of the provisional results for Shifnal, I think Hempie may have just taken the week from SYS but all very tight so may be wrong?
